This week I interviewed Bekah from Motherhood Moment. She is a mom who enjoys sharing money saving tips with other mothers. Scroll down for my exclusive interview with Bekah.
HM: Where are you from?Bekah: St Paul Minnesota
HM: When did you start blogging?Bekah: may of 2008
HM:Why do you blog?Bekah: I started mostly as just a little fun project, to see if I could get readers. now I blog because I learn a lot preparing for the posts, and I also benefit from looking up deals and freebies to share with readers.
HM: What is your blog about?Bekah: It’s a mishmash of a variety of family-friendly advice. I include tips about money (ways to make money at home, saving money, and freebies), parenting (including time-savers and free activities to do with kids), and the environment (practical, economical ways to be green). I also include giveaways, reviews, website spotlights, and links to sweepstakes.
HM: What are your ultimate goals for your blog?Bekah: I’d like to get more of a reader base so that there’s more interaction and feedback. I have no illusions of being able to spend the time needed to get to the level of readership that some mommy blogs have, but I’d love to double my subscribers and regular visitors within the next year, and after that, who knows?
HM: What do you want your readers to get out of your blog?Bekah: I want them to find practical advice that’s easy to implement, and good deals to help them save money.
HM: What do you do to get your readers to keep coming back?Bekah: I try to keep things interesting by having a wide variety of information that is really valuable and useful.
